The North Central Girls Swimming & Diving Team finished a successful season with a great showing at the IHSAA State Finals. The Panthers sent 8 swimmers to the State finals in 9 events and finished 20th overall.
Senior Emma Horton led the Panthers with a pair of individual scoring finishes. Horton finished 13th in the 50 Freestyle and 14th in the 100 Freestyle and teamed with senior Alani Hightower and juniors Lauren Diercks and Kate Peterson to finish 12th in the 200 Medley Relay.
Diercks finished 17th in the 100 Backstroke and sophomore Emily Buening finished 18th in the 500 Freestyle. Hightower finished 19th in the 200 IM and 21st in the 100 Butterfly.
Buening, Hightower and Horton teamed with freshman Madelyn Harvey to finish 20th in the 400 Freestyle Relay. Harvey and Peterson teamed with junior Eleanor Reno and sophomore Dillon Horsley to finish 24th in the 200 Freestyle Relay.
