The North Central Swimming & Diving Team had a successful trip to Hamilton County on Tuesday night, returning with a pair of dual meet victories for both the boys and girls. The Panther girls upped their season dual meet record to 4-1 by beating host Noblesville 60-42 and University 91-11. The Panther boys also moved to 4-1 on the season beating Noblesville 55-43 and Universtiy 77-17.
The girls rode superior depth to a sweep of the relay events led by junior Alani Hightower, a quadruple winner on the night, and senior Grace Lough and freshman Keira Kask who were both triple winners. Hightower, Kask and Lough were joined by senior Meggie McPherson on the winning 200 Medley Relay; Lough and McPherson were joined by senior Claudia Buddenbaum and junior Emma Horton on the winning 200 Freestyle Relay and Buddenbaum, Hightower and Kask were joined by senior Sally Jones on the winning 400 Freestyle Relay.
In addition to their relay success, Hightower picked up individual wins in the 50 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke, Lough won the 100 Breaststroke and Kask won the 100 Butterfly. The Panther girls also got a strong showing on the diving board, with sophomore Caroline Thoman, junior Elizabeth Chamness and sophomore Ella Youtsey picking up a 1-2-3 sweep of Diving.
