The North Central Swimming & Diving Team had many impressive performances on Thursday night but dropped a pair of dual meet decisions to Hamilton Southeastern. The Panther girls (4-2) fell 111-75 while the boys (4-2) lost 134-51.
Senior Meggie McPherson was the lone winner for the Panther girls, leading a 1-2 sweep of the 100 Butterfly with senior Sally Jones. McPherson (200 Freestyle) and Jones (100 Backstroke) each added an additional second place finish to their nights and helped the girls finish second in all three relay events. Jones teamed with senior Grace Lough, junior Alani Hightower and freshman Keira Kask in the 200 Medley Relay; Hightower, Lough and McPherson teamed with senior Claudia Buddenbaum in the 200 Freestyle Relay and Buddenbaum, Jones and McPherson teamed with junior Emma Horton in the 400 Freestyle Relay.
Hightower (200 IM & 100 Freestyle), Lough (50 Freestyle), Kask (100 Breaststroke) and freshman Emily Buening (500 Freestyle) picked up additional runner-up finishes versus the Royals.
