The North Central Swimming & Diving Team successfully opened its 2018-19 meet season last night with a pair of road wins at MIC rival Pike. The NC girls won 6 of 12 events on their way to a 111-65 victory while the boys took first place in 9 of 12 events and won 122-61.

Seniors Peter LaBarge and Logan Parker were quadruple winners on the night. Juniors Tyler Diercks, Sally Jones and Meggie McPherson and sophomores Alani Hightower and Michael Goetz were triple winners. Juniors Claudia Buddenbaum and Grace Lough and sophomore Brooks Hillenbrand were double winners. And senior Ashley Glesing, juniors Dimitar Donovski and Sam Nemeth and sophomore Emma Horton each picked up one win on the evening.

The NC Swimming & Diving Team will return to action this Saturday, November 24, traveling to Columbus North for a 10:00am dual meet with the Bullfrogs.
