The North Central Swimming & Diving teams wrapped up a successful Thanksgiving break on Saturday with a pair of victories over Columbus North. Both teams move to 2-0 on the season with the girls winning 119-64 and the boys beating the Bullfrogs 101-82.
The Panther girls were paced by senior Meggie McPherson junior Alani Hightower who were both quadruple winners on the day. McPherson picked up individual wins in the 200 Freestyle and 100 Butterfly while Hightower won the 50 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke. McPherson and Hightower teamed with senior Sally Jones and junior Emma Horton to win the 400 Freestyle Relay.
Junior Grace Lough was a triple winner against the Bullfrogs. Lough won the 100 Breaststroke, teamed with McPherson, Horton and senior Claudia Buddenbaum to win the 200 Freestyle Relay and teamed with Buddenbaum, Hightower and Jones to win the 200 Medley Relay.
Freshman Keira Kask picked up an individual win in the 200 IM.
