The North Central Swimming & Diving teams wrapped up a successful Thanksgiving break on Saturday with a pair of victories over Columbus North. Both teams move to 2-0 on the season with the girls winning 119-64 and the boys beating the Bullfrogs 101-82.
Freshman Brody Friend led the Panther boys as a triple winner, claiming individual firsts in the 100 & 200 Freestyle and teaming with seniors Tyler Diercks and Sam Nemeth and freshman Colin Parker to win the 400 Freestyle Relay.
Parker was a triple winner against the Bullfrogs, winning the 50 Freestyle and adding a relay victory in the 200 Medley Relay with Diercks, junior Michael Goetz and sophomore Carsyn Christoffel.
Goetz (100 Butterfly) and Christoffel (100 Breaststroke) were double winners, adding individual firsts in their respective events to their relay victories.
Both teams return to action on Tuesday, December 3 traveling to MIC rival Carmel for a dual meet with the Greyhounds. Diving will start at 5:30pm with swimming starting at 6:30pm.
